Mac OS X L2TP/IPsec Instructions

To configure the L2TP/IPSec connection:

In System Preferences, bang Network Settings

Click the Apple again bang System Preferences

Under Internet & Wireless, bang Network

Click + (the additional icon)

Select VPN for the interface, L2TP over IPSec for the VPN Type, and blazon a anecdotic name for the Service Name

Click Create

Select the anew created VPN connection

Type one of the afterward names in the Server Address field:

chicago.vpnreactor.net - Middle U.S.

denver.vpnreactor.net - Middle U.S.

denver2.vpnreactor.net - Middle U.S.

denver3.vpnreactor.net - Middle U.S.

fremont.vpnreactor.net - Southern California

houston.vpnreactor.net - Middle U.S.

la.vpnreactor.net - Southern California

ny.vpnreactor.net - East Coast U.S.

nl.vpnreactor.net - Europe

uk.vpnreactor.net - Europe

Type your VPNReactor Login the Account Name field

Click Authentication Settings

Enter your VPNReactor Password in the Password field

Under Machine Authentication, bang the radio button for Shared Secret. Enter "VPNReactor" (minus the quotes and case sensitive) in the Shared Secret argument acreage and bang OK

Click Advanced, analysis Send all cartage over VPN connection, again bang OK

Click Apply

To connect:

Click the VPN figure in the card bar

Click Connect to your new VPN connection

To disconnect:

Click the VPN figure in the card bar
