Can I get into the olympic park with a ticket for an event at a different location?

I have an Olympic ticket for an event that is not at the Olympic park in Statford. I would however like to visit the olympic park again if possible so can i still get into the park even though i dont have tickets for an event there on that day? The ticket I have is for mountain biking which is over in essex.
