How to I remind my boss about my salary increase?

My boss and I agreed verbally that she would increase my salary on the basis that I tend to travel alot for the company and therefore entitled to allowances. My salary slip reflects this increase but not the amount deposited into my account. Bearing in mind that she's a stingy businesswoman who is unlikely to give money freely (as it is in these difficult economic times) what's the best method to confront her about this?
